For the MPiStutter app we recommend the Iasus NT3 throat microphone.

It's also a good choice with the SmallTalk or iParkinsons app in a noisy environment as it records directly from the Vocal Cords and minimises background noise. . It includes a monaural (one ear) clear plastic acoustic eartube.

For binaural feedback we supply a set comprising Iasus Neckband Microphone, Binaural Sony Clip-on earphones and Buddy Adapter for iPhone or iPod touch for $170 plus $17 GSTMonaural sound is less effective than binaural sound. The Iasus NT3 throat microphone can also be used with binaural earphones..

If you have had DBS (Deep Brain Stimulators) inserted you need to check with your neurosurgeon before using the neckband microphone with the iParkinsons app as it is fastened by a magnet (or replace the magnet fastener with velcro)

For Auditory Feedback in one ear

The Iasus NT3 is a combination throat microphone and acoustic eartube. It can be hidden under your collar or scarf. A clear plastic tube goes to your ear. A hearing aid store can make a comfortable, inconspicuous earmold to fit your ear. The clear plastic eartube is made for television announcers and is nearly invisible to listeners.

For feedback in both ears without obstructing your hearing (for safety)
